“Paul Newman”, Dennis Hopper
We were sorry to see the passing of one of our iconoclastic heroes this week … Dennis Hopper died. His photography being one of his lesser known accomplishments, it nonetheless deserves a brief revisit.
As stated in Juxtapoz magazine:
From Jane Fonda to Paul Newman, Andy Warhol to Jasper Johns, Hopper caught some serious talent in their prime on film. Perhaps it was his own experience in the spotlight, but Hopper’s eye for lighting, placement, and timing made for striking images.
