After achieving the thirty year mark, photo-eye Bookstore and Gallery in Santa Fe, NM is celebrating with an exhibit and edition offering of work by Hiroshi Watanabe. “Suo  Sarumawashi” incorporates the Japanese art of street performances by monkeys.

The images are unique and delicate in sensibility. The beauty of Japanese art and its influence in photography, as in the work of Michael Kenna, always moves us in a unique way. Here we have the added advantage of a specific cultural topic being addressed.
