Ed Ruscha, NYC 1961
Ed Ruscha’s art is characterized by graphic simplicity, playful humor, and a keen interest in the vernacular as it applies to both language and architecture.
Perhaps most well-known for his photography books which rejected the traditional limited-edition hand-crafted artist books, Ruscha’s found unique ways to present his work for viewing.
