Mon Dieu! French born vagabond and resident New Yorker Nicolas Auvray will be having quite the special exhibit this fall in the City of Lights.
For over 2 months, the Parisian and visiting public will have 24 hours access to the outdoors exhibition. 19 black & white night images, 4 feet tall and up to 10 feet long will be on view.
Walking the cities at night I look for these moments when other worlds and possibilities appear. Then I start a more intimate journey where I face choices and alternative realities. These are my “Attractions Nocturnes”.
I am also very happy to announce that a selection of my images will enter the collection of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BnF). The BnF owns one of the world’s major collections of photographs and prints and organizes several exhibitions every year. I feel very honored and grateful to have this opportunity.
The exhibition is presented by the City of Paris 1st district city hall. It is curated by American Master Printer, Artist. Chuck Kelton
The exhibition is supported by prestigious partners including The Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BnF) – one of the world’s leading photographic and print collections, ERDF, Hotel Le Meurice, Luzurier SARL – metal work, RATP, and PICTO labs.
If you didn’t already have a reason to visit Paris, now’s a great chance! The exhibit will run from October 1st to December 6th.
